V10-60

The Lighthouse Series is SOFAR’s flagship permanent-magnet variable-speed booster. Developed for the home, it combines a smaller housing, quieter operation and intelligent control. The design draws on the work of SOFAR’s engineers to rethink the appearance and layout of a traditional water pump.

Guide to the product sheets

Sheet 1Lighthouse high-output intelligent permanent-magnet variable-speed pumps, shown in the original 2022 brochure.

Sheet 2Close-up of the stainless-steel pump casing.

Sheet 3Key features include permanent-magnet variable-speed operation, Bluetooth 5.2, phone control, settings memory after a power interruption, rain and frost protection, and support for a range of supply voltages and frequencies.

Sheet 4Additional features include quiet operation, protection against water shortage and support for a master control module.

Sheet 5The brochure describes weak or fluctuating water flow in home kitchens and showers, and inadequate pressure during peak demand at guesthouses, restaurants and bathing facilities.

Sheet 6Continuation of the low-pressure examples.

Sheet 7Adaptive variable-speed control adjusts the supply to the installation’s water demand.

Sheet 8The illustration shows residential showers alongside hospitality, catering and other commercial water uses.

Sheet 9With Bluetooth 5.2, a phone can monitor pump operation and change settings.

Sheet 10Continuation of the phone-control illustration.

Sheet 11The permanent-magnet motor and adaptive speed control adjust power within the design range as water demand changes. This high-output brochure reports energy savings of over 50% relative to an ordinary motor and describes the motor design as explosion-resistant.

Sheet 12Close-up of the motor illustration.

Sheet 13The motor cutaway shows the powertrain inside the inline housing.

Sheet 14The compact 304 stainless-steel body saves installation space and resists corrosion.

Sheet 15The pump is pictured installed in the space below a kitchen sink.

Sheet 16The size comparison shows a conventional booster installation at 560 × 260 × 580 mm and the inline SOFAR pump at 350 mm long, with casing diameters of 132 and 136 mm.

Sheet 17The inline layout is designed to reduce noise in occupied rooms.

Sheet 18The brochure describes third-party quality testing and shows design and trademark documents. The design patent shown is ZL202130587077.4.

Sheet 19Continuation of the original document photographs.

Sheet 20The housing detail shows a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel shell.

Sheet 21Details include the touch control panel, rust-resistant inlet and outlet fittings, and the cylindrical casing.

Sheet 22Applications in domestic and commercial water systems.

Sheet 23Applications include boosting residential and commercial water supplies, circulating water in heating, air-conditioning and boiler systems, and integrating pumps with a master control module or other equipment. The home diagram also shows outlets for bathrooms, kitchen use and garden watering.

Sheet 24The system diagram illustrates connecting the pump to a master control module for a packaged water-supply installation.

Sheet 25V6-50 is rated at 200–1,200 W, with maximum head of 50 m and maximum flow of 12 m³/h. V8-55 is 250–1,500 W, 55 m and 14.5 m³/h. V10-60 is 250–1,800 W, 60 m and 16.5 m³/h. All three use DN40 connections and 160–240 V power. The drawing gives a length of 350 mm and body diameters of 132 and 136 mm.

Sheet 26The head-versus-flow curves compare the three DN40 models. The sheet gives IPX6 enclosure protection, class F insulation, 80 °C maximum liquid temperature and 50–60 Hz supply frequency.

Sheet 27Photographs show the inline pump from the front, rear and ends.

Sheet 28Additional views of the stainless-steel body.

Sheet 29Installation overview. Unpack the pump, fit unions to the inlet and outlet, and tighten them in the indicated direction. The diagrams show horizontal and vertical mounting, flow direction, power connection, startup and QR-code activation.

Sheet 30Continuation of the installation sequence.

Sheet 31Electrical plug note. The V6-50, V8-55 and V10-60 are supplied with a 16 A plug in the illustrated configuration.
