SOFAR receives JD Industrials’ award for outstanding supply chain contribution
On 20 February, hundreds of brand representatives, industrial suppliers and other guests met at JD headquarters for the 2025 JD Industrials Partner Conference. JD Industrials outlined its business plans and strategic priorities for the year. Guided by its commitment to doing business responsibly, it will focus on lowering costs, improving efficiency and providing reliable digital supply chain services for industrial goods. Plans include expanding its product and supplier base, holding more inventory in its own warehouses and upgrading its warehouse network. Its goal is to build a comprehensive global industrial supply chain and improve procurement for industrial customers. It also aims to make JD better known as a source of good-value hardware, supporting merchants’ growth and industrial modernization.
SOFAR to debut at the seventh industry partner conference on 12 December
SOFAR researches, designs, sells and services pumps, high-efficiency hydraulic passages, permanent-magnet variable-speed motors and intelligent controls. From the outset, the company set out to improve traditional pump manufacturing, replacing old motor designs and basic controls while addressing poor workmanship, high energy use and noise. Its permanent-magnet motors and intelligent controls have now reached their fifth generation. The company describes its intelligent variable-frequency controls and permanent-magnet motor products as being at the forefront of international development.
