Guide to the product sheets
Sheet 1The Sailor Q is a compact 24 V DC booster for household fixtures. Its enclosed design requires little maintenance.
Sheet 2The pump combines a copper-wound DC motor, low-noise operation, three power settings and low-voltage supply.
Sheet 3Applications include taps, smart toilets, overhead showers, wall-hung boilers and water heaters. Boosting can help where a weak supply causes an uneven shower temperature.
Sheet 4The motor operates from a 24 V DC supply.
Sheet 5The electronic controller drives the permanent-magnet motor with a sinusoidal waveform.
Sheet 6Sensorless starting dispenses with a mechanical flow switch. Three settings let the user match the pump to the outlet.
Sheet 7At the highest setting, the Q20 is rated at 80 W with maximum head of 20 m and maximum flow of 24 L/min. The Q20 Plus is rated at 100 W, 20 m and 40 L/min respectively.
Sheet 8The home installation diagram shows how a pump on the supply line can serve kitchen and bathroom outlets. The brochure illustrates boosting one or two points of use with up to 20 m of head.
Sheet 9Actual requirements vary with the installation. SOFAR advises checking model selection with its service team.
Sheet 10The brochure gives an IP65 enclosure rating and advises protecting electrical equipment from moisture to prolong service life.
Sheet 11Q20 performance at low, medium and high settings. Power is 40, 60 and 80 W. Maximum head is 12, 16 and 20 m. Maximum flow is 19, 21 and 24 L/min. Curves plot head in metres against flow in litres per minute.
Sheet 12Q20 Plus performance at low, medium and high settings. Power is 60, 85 and 100 W. Maximum head is 12, 16 and 20 m. Maximum flow is 29, 33 and 40 L/min.
Sheet 13Q20 and Q20 Plus measure 11.8 × 7.6 × 9.8 cm. The adapter takes 110–240 V AC and supplies 24 V DC. Liquid temperature is 4–95 °C and ambient temperature is 0–40 °C. Automatic starting requires an outlet flow above 1.5 L/min. The sheet lists ½-in and ¾-in connections. Use clean, non-viscous, near-neutral liquid free from solids and mineral oil. Consult SOFAR about mildly acidic or alkaline liquids.
